Allison Crowe "Tidings"Right in time for the Christmas sales comes this great album from Canadian Allison Crowe. The 12 tracks long album contains songs as "River", "Hallelujah", "Silent Night", "In The Black Midwinter", "What Child Is This", "Let It Be", "The First Noel", "In My Life", "O Holy Night", "Shine A Light" (by Mick Jagger/Keith Richards), and "Angel". Alison Crowe is a very talented performer. Her bluesy-rock gospel is great, her voice is powerful. Her piano playing and unique voice gives the album a lot, and not that casual background music for Christmas parties, but a pleasant listening from first song and to the very last.
