Review:
David Sobrevilla, Peru
I've finally fulfilled one of my biggest
dreams in this lifetime of mine... on October, Wednesday 23, at the American
Airlines Arena in Miami, RS ALIVE!.
They kickstarted with "Street Fighting Man", and then played 2
hours straight, some of their best material... (an encore was missed, RS
didn't came back).
It surprised me and my brother and a friend of mine (we travelled from Peru
speciallly to see RS), that most of the people in the arena were just cold
seated and not going wild! (only on the best known songs they rose up from
their seats). I mean, obviously, because they've seen them (RS) a thousand
times, maybe they think they have won the "right" to watch 'em.
Anyway, with a lot of beers before the show (and a lot after to celebrate,
but not that "dirty water" called Bud Light, real beer like Latin beer,
it really kicks ass), we enjoyed all the concert standing on our own feet,
never seated, and waving high the Peruvian flag (red and white) we brought
up specially for the occasion (even Keith grinned at it when he saw it, I have
some photos that can testify).
Well, I'm still in hope that the band can came down to Southamerica and play
on some countries including mine of course.
I'm fearing that this can really be their last tour ever (Charlie is 61 and
the other guys are turning sixty next year)... that little big fear made me
travel to Miami, the sacrifice was real worthy, by all means.
Thanx for putting up with me, and if anything, you can drop me a line
whenever, I'm always here, OK?

short review
The concert was awesome,
it was my first time Rolling Stones concert. I don't have any words to express
it! I
only would like to say that I hate the se curity guard that was bothering
me because I was taking some pictures, but I did it!!
