On Friday evening March 31st Blue Lena hosted the 7th Annual Rolling Stones Fan Gathering at the Bottom Line Saloon in Washington, DC. This year's event lasted from 5pm until 10pm at the Bottom Line and continued onto the Froggy Bottom Pub from 10-11pm. The gathering was attended by 11 people: Blue Lena and her husband Dave, Jaggrfn1, SweetVA, JustMyImagination, Stonesdoug, Oldkr, Marcia, TomL, Nanky and Mindy. Gimmelildrink attended by cell phone! 

Blue Lena brought her tour photo books and we shared tour stories and discussed the upcoming European shows. Our only disappointment was that the DJ that we had for the past 7 years was not in attendance that night, which meant we were stuck with a new DJ who only had ONE Stones song-Satisfaction, and he didn't seem all too happy to play it for us either! 

At 10pm we left due to the torture of techno & hip hop music being played, and we headed to the Froggy Bottom Pub where we sat outside and enjoyed the warm Spring weather for another hour of pizza and beer before wrapping things up for the night. TomL was the winner of the commemorative t-shirt and everyone received a commemorative button. Shirts and buttons were made using the Camp X-Ray sign that I took from outside Keith's dressing room back in Chicago in January.
