NEW YORK, Oct. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Rock legend and Rolling Stone Mick Jagger
joins forces with former wife and model, Jerry Hall this weekend at the famed
exclusive Harrington Club in London to share their dedication to the ancient
wisdom of Kabbalah. Jagger and Hall will be hosting a fund-raiser with
some of their closest friends in honor of The Kabbalah Centre and Rav Berg, the
director of the Centre. The invitation list includes Patty Clapton, former wife
of Eric Clapton, Beatle member George Harrison, and Rolling Stones band members
Bill Wyman, Ron Wood and his wife Jo (owner of the Harrington Club) among other
famous guests.
``Through the teachings of Kabbalah, my life has been changed,'' states Jerry
Hall, a Kabbalah Centre student for over a year. ``This is a very important
event because we want to share the teachings of Kabbalah with our friends and
raise money for the Centre so that others can benefit from this wisdom and find
fulfillment in their lives,'' she adds.
Hall was introduced to Kabbalah over a year ago during a visit to the United
States when one of her close friends brought her to The Kabbalah Centre in Los
Angeles. At the Centre, she began her studies with Kabbalah teacher Eitan
Yardeni, whose roster of celebrity students includes pop icon, Madonna.
Hall continued her learning upon her return to London, where she began studying
under Eitan's brother, Eliayahu Yardeni, at The Kabbalah Centre there.
Shortly thereafter, she introduced Mick Jagger to The Kabbalah Centre.
Jagger and Hall also wanted to show their appreciation for Kabbalist Rav
Berg, dean and director of The Kabbalah Centre, and his wife, Karen, who have
both dedicated their lives to helping people find fulfillment through the wisdom
of Kabbalah. Berg is recognized world-wide as the spiritual leader of Kabbalah,
and through the Centre has helped over 3.4 million individuals improve their
lives and has helped bring peace in many parts of the world through his work
with world leaders.
The Kabbalah Centre teaches the 4,000 year-old ancient, universal wisdom of
Kabbalah, which reveals the meaning of life and the spiritual laws of the
universe. This knowledge provides the foundation and teaching for spiritual
transformation leading to lasting fulfillment. The Kabbalah Centre was
established 78 years ago in 1922 in Jerusalem. Today with its headquarters in
Los Angeles headed by Rav Berg, The Kabbalah Centre has reached over 3.4 million
people at 39 centers around the world including London, New York, Toronto, and
Paris. More than half of these students are non-Jewish indicating the continuous
growth and appeal of the teachings. Kabbalah predates all religion -- it is a
universal wisdom that was intended for all humanity.
