The visit in Leipzig was big, not only on stage, but the 65.000 people in the
audience had a great show, after lots of problems in the traffic in the old town
of Leizpig. People from many former Eastern countries were among in the audience.

Review from Eckehard:
This show was a great experience, a great band as warm up - The Pretenders,
kept the warm-up on a higher level, before the Rolling Stones first came onto
stage. First time I ever saw them here in my hometown. The rock legend AC/DC did
a great job as well to get us rolling on.
The show was rolling very good on, and we reached a higher level with Rock Me
Baby, when AC/DC members joined forces with Rolling Stones. Charlie behind the
drums gave a great evening as well, although he seems to be in the shadow
sometimes of the other members in the band.
Now I look forward for Sunday evening at Hockenheim. It should be fun with a
race as well there.
Our
tour to Leipzig from Denmark:
Would like
to tell you about our trip to Leipzig. We were in a coach from Vejle, Denmark
starting on the night of June 20th. to see the Rolling Stones on Friday with
warm-up from Pretenders and AC/DC. It
is very generous from Rolling Stones to have AC/DC as warm up at three shows in
Germany - actually more of the people in the coach went to see AC/DC. They have
never seen the Stones before, but had to admit, that it was quit an experience
as well. It
was nice to find a common T-shirt where AC/DC were used on the tongue logo. I
had to have such a t-shirt, although I find the prices on merchandise a little
too high, compared with normal clothes prices. And
it was an incredible experience, first out was Pretenders. They played for
almost 45 minutes, then AC/DC for the next 90 minutes. And at last the Stones
had two hours - the Young brothers from AC/DC joined the stage and played
together with Stones in "Rock Me Baby", and later on Chrissy Hynde
from Pretenders sang together with Mick Jagger in "Honky Tonk Woman".
Really great. We were back in Vejle again late on Saturday morning, after only
7-8 hours of sleep in 48 hours, but it didn't matter after all what we have seen.
It is impossible to describe. Now we are looking forward for Parken, and later
on we leave for Hamburg and Rotterdam. Ole Friman
