Review:
A review of San Sabastian by Nina aka Lilla Chinchilla
So much happened during this weekend. Got home around 12 o'clock tonight.
Haven't slept very much.
Just when we should go on Saturday morning I hurt my back when I said goodbye
to our bunny! I got lumbago, and it hurted very much. Well, it didn't stop me
from going to San Sebastian! We took many flights on this trip, all were
in time, just the one from London to Vitoria was of course late! We got very
nervous because we had over an hour to drive, and we were not sure if it was
easy to get to San Sebastian. We reached our hotel around 6.30 in the evening.
We just changed clothes and such things and then we drove to San Sebastian.
Found a parkhouse very near the Anoeta Stadium. My husband smuggled in his
video camera and I smuggled in my digital camera. I can tell that my
photos were not good at all! You need a much better camera to take pics at
that distance. (We had seats) Very good seats, we saw very well! But to take
pics you have to be nearer to the stage.
Around 15 minutes past 10 the Stones began with Start Me Up! It was so great
to see them again! I think I had a big smile during the whole concert!
Mick had so much energy, he jumped around all the time! Charlie was great, as
always, Ronnie did so many great solos! And Keith....what can I say?! I was so
happy to see him, and to see that he seems to be fine! He looks maybe a little
older than last year, but who doesn't?! He didn't seem to have those problems
people have written about. He was just great! You know they did Ruby
Tuseday...it was wonderful...Keith played acoustic guitar and sang a little
too...Wonderful!
Keith was great in his numbers...It was great to hear You Got the Silver!!!
And also Wanna Hold You was very good! I just love him!
It was one of the best Stones-concerts I have seen. I was glad that they did
It's Only Rock..n..Roll
instead of Miss you (that's the only song I don't like at all...). Can't wait
to see them in Gothenburg! Even when I think I will have the most fun in
Copenhagen, I like more to stand, so happy that we have FOS there. In
Gothenburg we will have our kids with us, so it's the best to have seats. In
Oslo we will stand, but there is no FOS.
Take care!
Hugs from Chillan/Nina
