 Live report from Blue
Lena in Pittsburgh
Just up in the morning after 4 hours sleep.
Pittsburgh was the best stadium show I have seen and it was show #52 for me! I
had 5th row by the catwalk, which was literally the PERFECT seat.
They threw in what Ronnie had promised, several surprises, including Rocks Off,
Paint it Black, and Get Off My Cloud (B stage). We got front of the B stage
Ronnie's side. It really was an unbelievable show.
The crowd was into it and the band could feel it and pushed themselves to the
limit.
I got interviewed in the morning along with Stones Planet member Jaggrfn1 and we
appeared on the 12 noon news.
Stones Planet member Gimmelildrink and her daughter got interviewed later and
appeared on the 6pm news.
Keith wore my shirt I had given him in Toronto as he arrived in Pittsburgh and
got filmed by the news with it on...he also wore it to the show that night. I
wore my shirt that matches his when the Stones left the hotel and he shook my
hand to thank me...I was the only one in the lobby who got to shake his hand!
We saw everyone but Mick, who was snuck out the side door.
Later that evening Keith's daughter Angela asked me for a shirt like the one I
gave Keith, so I gave her mine and she wore it to the bar after the show!
More later. I have had no sleep in like 4 or 5 days and have to work tomorrow.
Ugh! But, 2 words sums it up "fucking fantastic"!!!!

This is me and Keith's daughter Angela at the Stones hotel in Pittsburgh. I
had met Angela back in 1999 in London & watched the shows from the
mixer with her and her husband. It was sweet of her to remember me. I had
given Keith a shirt that said "Yo Ho Yo Ho A Guitarists Life for Me"
and it had a skull in the middle and I had a girls shirt that matched his. I had
given Keith the shirt in Toronto and he wore it into Pittsburgh and was filmed
on the news wearing it. He also wore it as he left the hotel for the show and I
was wearing mine and he saw me and thanked me & shook my hand. I brought the
shirt to the concert and held it up during the show. After the show Angela asked
me if I could get her one, so she had one to match her Dad's, so I gave her mine.
This is a picture of her holding it up. Later in the evening she put it on and
wore it.
This is Blue Lena holding up the shirt in the outdoor VIP lounge before the
show.
By the way, Keith also wore my scarf for the final bow (second time).
