Live report from Blue Lena in Toronto

Saturday at noon:

I arrived in Toronto today at 12:00 noon. The Stones are currently in Columbus, OH for their show tonight.
The stage, however, is being built right here at Rogers Centre by the crew.
I was able to get inside and see the stage being built, they are just laying down the catwalk now and the B-stage section is off to the side getting ready to be hauled onto the floor. The main part of the main stage is also up already, and the steps to the On Stage seats are in place...but there's still a lot more work for the crew to do tonight to get everything ready for tomorrow's show.
Tomorrow I will try to get more photos if I can, but I am not sure I'll be able to see inside again. I'll try to send you a report after the show late Monday night or early Tuesday morning!

Saturday evening:

I walked all around the outside
of the arena tonight and you could see in through the front that they have made a lot of progress on the stage since this morning when I first took photos.

I will see if I can take anymore photos tomorrow.

This is very weird having the hotel directly connected to the arena!

Sunday morning 10am:

This photo is the stage at around 9:00am Sunday. The weather is warmer than yesterday, but we had rain last night and some left over drizzle this morning.

But, tomorrow for the show it is supposed to rain all day, so be
prepared. Good thing this show is indoors!

The waitresses in the bar and restaurant at the hotel informed me that you can hear the whole concert from inside the bar, you just can't see it. So, I assume the same goes for the people in the Hard Rock Cafe that is aslo attached to the Rogers Centre.

In about an hour, I am headed to the Stones hotel. I'll report back later
this afternoon.
