JAN. 5 Mick Jagger To Produce Series About Celebrity Lifestyles

LOS ANGELES Mick Jagger is going to be in charge of showing you the inside look at celebrities' lives.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Jagger's production company is developing a series called "Being," which will follow a single celebrity each episode.
It's similar to a show the Rolling Stone singer did called "Being Mick," which followed him as he made a solo album, played with his kids and hung out with celebrities.

The show will focus on the celebrity's present-day life, rather than tell the story of how he or she got to be famous.

The series is set to premiere on cable's A&E in 2006.

Rolling Stone Ronnie gets satisfaction from painting

An exclusive one-man exhibition of art work by Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood is coming to Belfast for the first time next month.
Although he is best known for his music, Ronnie was born into a family of enthusiastic artists.

During the war, before Ronnie was born, the Woods saw out air-raids in a bomb shelter in the garden. His brothers, Art and Ted, would fill the hours by drawing, with their dad Arthur teaching them. Ronnie followed his brothers to art school and his first job was as a signwriter.
Brother Art, now a successful commercial artist, said: "Dad didn't have any training but he had a natural flair for drawing. By the time Ron arrived, drawing and painting were already a firmly established part of our family and our growing up."

The exhibition, which includes works of other famous musicians and animals, is currently touring and has already been to New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Tokyo and Hong Kong. As well as sketches, the exhibition will include portraits of John Lennon, who Ronnie knew when they both lived in New York, Jack Nicholson, Bob Dylan, Jim Morrison and many others.

He says: "Nowadays I draw people whenever I can, in the studio, in the control room - when I get a bit of time I just do a quick sketch. "I go about drawing [them] in the same way I go about doing anyone. "Some people get annoyed if they know I'm drawing them.I'll say 'stay like that', but they won't, so I have to get an average."

Of one classic set of Stones portraits, he says: "The Voodoo Lounge [pictures] were done in rehearsal. I sketched them quickly when they were just sitting there."
The limited edition screen prints, etchings and woodcuts are all signed by Ronnie Wood and will be on sale at the exhibition, with prices ranging from £500 to £4,500.

Stones, Marley Works Enter Grammy Hall of Fame

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter Chris Morris) - The Rolling Stones' 1969 album "Let It Bleed" and Bob Marley's 1974 single "No Woman No Cry" are among the 20 recordings that have been added to the Grammy Hall of Fame, which honors works of "lasting qualitative or historical significance that are at least 25 years old."

Latter-day sides are in the minority this year, with "Let It Bleed," "No Woman No Cry" and Ray Charles' 1972 rendition of "America the Beautiful" being the sole representatives of modern rock and pop. (Charles is posthumously nominated for seven Grammy Awards this year.)

Other inductees include Frank Sinatra's "One for My Baby" (1958), Henry Mancini's "Peter Gunn" (1959) and Les Paul & Mary Ford's "Vaya Con Dios" (1953).

Dating back to the original 1911 recording of Irving Berlin's "Alexander's Ragtime Band" by Arthur Collins & Byron Harlan, the other tracks comprise '30s jazz sides by Louis Armstrong, Count Basie's Kansas City 7 and Billie Holiday and '20s and '30s pop evergreens by Bing Crosby, Gene Austin, Al Jolson, Ruth Etting, Dick Powell, Ray Noble, Judy Garland, Harry Richman, Fred Astaire and Bob Hope & Shirley Ross.

Wild And Wycked – The World Of Brian Jones

The film - or at least the 20 first minutes of the film were shown yesterday at the Film Festival in Berlin.

It shows from the first 20 min. about the life in the 60's - with drugs, naked girls, big parties (orgies) and wild and ruff music. Leo Gregory is playing Brian Jones, and the Swedish Tyva Novotny is the girl who is a friend of Anna Wohlin. The film is valuable, and specially the part of it when Jagger kick Brian Jones out of the band with the words: "you're out, cock!"

The film will be shown first time in full lenght at Cannes Film Festival in May, where Charlotte will attend.

Ronnie Wood & Fiends...Sunday 13th March - Theatre Royal at Drury Lane

Illustrious Rolling Stones guitarist, Ronnie Wood, will be taking part in a spectacular event at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane on Sunday 13th March.
Supported by Andrew Lloyd Webber, the theatre, which currently houses Ronnie's unique artwork and is home to 'The Producers', will get a surge of life pumped through its veins as 'Woody' takes to the stage with some of the most credible names in rock.

With his laid back and loose spirit reminiscent of the jamming sessions of the 70's; legendary Faces guitarist, Ronnie Wood, will be joined by fiends and ex band-mates Ian 'Mac' McLagan and Kenney Jones for a night of rhythm injected, rough and reckless Rock 'n' Roll!

The band who, through reputation need no introduction, have had numerous hits in the early 70's with classic tracks such as 'Stay With Me', 'Flying' and 'I Can Feel The Fire'. Having conquered both sides of the Atlantic with sell out shows, the Faces called it a day in 1974 after which Ronnie joined the Rolling Stones while Kenny went on to play with The Who.

'Ronnie Wood and Fiends' will be a night no different to the good ol' days of rock where spontaneity and unpredictability added to the atmosphere of a jammin' session. There is no telling which of Ronnie's many guitar playing buddies will turn up. You can expect to see plenty of his mischievous fiends as well as some of his Rolling Stones band mate, backing vocalist, Bernard Fowler, percussionist, Ray Cooper and violinist, Frankie Gavin.

With over four decades at the heart of rock, Ronnie and his musically charged chums undoubtedly epitomise the 70s generation of eclectic music and carefree lifestyles. Ronnie Wood & Fiends will be supported by Countermine.

MARCH 3 Stones re-issue Classic

from Billboard:

The Stones discs, due April 5 from Virgin/EMI Music Catalog Marketing, are popular compilations that have been out of print in the United States for some time.

Conceived as a career overview to advance a North American tour, 1975's "Made in the Shade" collects 10 tracks from the first four Stones albums. The album, which peaked at No. 6 on Billboard's album chart, includes "Brown Sugar," "Dance Little Sister," "Angie" and "Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker)."

As its title facetiously alludes, "Sucking in the Seventies" was a 1981 look back at the previous decade of Stones output, with hits like "Shattered," "Wild Horses" and "Beast of Burden" joined by then rarities like the B-side "Everything Is Turning to Gold" and a live version of "When the Whip Comes Down." The set peaked at No. 15 on the album chart.

Over the past few months, the Stones have been working on material for a new album expected in late summer/early fall via Virgin. A world tour will follow.

Law and Miller Top International Fashion League
by Victoria Ward, PA, in New York

Five stylish Brits have made it on to Vanity Fair’s International Best-Dressed List, it was revealed today.

Couple of the moment Jude Law and Sienna Miller join fellow British beauties Kate Moss, Jemima Khan and Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts at the top of the fashion league.

Law describes his signature look as “messy schoolteacher” and claims his favourite books are Curious George and the complete works of EE Cummings while a pair of Carpe Diem boots are his favourite shoes.

His fiance Miller told the magazine her style was “always a little gypsyish, but it fluctuates depending on my mood”.

The actress named 60s beauty Edie Sedgwick as her style icon but was gracious enough to list Law alongside Jim Morrison and Jimi Hendrix as her favoured dapper men.

Moss, no stranger to such style accolades, reveals that her favourite couture piece is a “John Galliano, pale blue bias-cut dress” she got for her 21st birthday.

Her favourite fashion trend is waistcoats and she is no fan of cowboy boots. The Croydon-born model named Keith Richards as her most stylish man but it is his fellow Rolling Stone Watts who joins her on the list.

Watts wears both buttons and cuff links and occasionally a silk pocket square, according to the magazine.

Fashion designer Khan admits she owns just one couture piece and loves her Anya Hindmarch bag which “features her two sons’ bottoms.”

The five chic Brits join Oprah Winfrey, Queen Rania of Jordan and George Clooney on the list of the world’s best-dressed.

Wood recently performed at the illustrious venue with Stones frontman SIR MICK JAGGER (13MAR05), and initially intended the gig to be a one-off.

However, the guitar hero, who has recently won a long battle against alcoholism, is now keen to recreate the heady days of the 1970s with a bevy of star-studded gigs.

A spokesman for the BROWN SUGAR star says, "It's all about recreating the jamming sessions of the 1970s, which Ronnie always says were his most musically creative days.

"He's planning to do a gig a month and is talking to various high-profile musicians about playing with him. But the whole idea is to be spontaneous: He's just going to get people down and see what happens."

Boston requests report for Stones concert

Boston, MA, Apr. 13 (UPI) -- Boston's licensing board has requested a "neighborhood impact" report for a proposed concert by The Rolling Stones at Fenway Park.

Mayor Tom Menino's office said six people spoke in favor of the concert at the March 30 hearing, and none spoke against. The licensing board requested the Red Sox submit a report within 30 days of the meeting. Menino said he supports concerts at the Red Sox's historic home.

The Rolling Stones plan to launch a world tour this year, but have not yet announced a date or venue, Pollstar reported Wednesday. A spokesman for the rockers refused to comment on rumors that the band plans to kick the tour off in August at Fenway.

If the concert is approved, the Stones will join Bruce Springsteen and Jimmy Buffett as the only artists to play the venue.

Stones rolled in, rolled out faster

It was 40 years ago Tuesday that the Rolling Stones came to play their one and only London concert. The five Stones only played about four numbers before the police pulled the plug, fearing mayhem.

A stage-storming, chair- chucking "riot," to use The Free Press word of the day, ensued on April 26, 1965. There were a few injuries, including fans cut when a plate glass door shattered in the pre-concert press. Read the entire story here.

APRIL 29 Hey! you! Get off of my car

A GUITARIST with a Rolling Stones look-alike band chased a would-be car thief through Highgate after his attempt to steal a 4x4 car backfired.
The Benny Hill-style chase started last Friday at 3pm when members of The Rollin Stoned were filming in South Grove.
Michel Austin, 44, who plays tragic guitarist Brian Jones, was decked out in trademark floppy wig and tight jeans for his part in a documentary about the mysterious death of the rock'n'roll star.
While re-enacting scenes from the star's life, Mr Austin's girlfriend and the film crew spotted a man trying to steal a car.

The thief struck as the car's owner was unloading shopping from her 4x4, leaving her dog in the car and the keys in the ignition.
The thief tried to reverse the jeep, but his path was blocked by a passing car and the owner managed to prize the keys from the ignition.
The thief then fled, pursued by Mr Austin dressed as Brian Jones, crew member Berj Bedrossian and two other valiant have-a-go heroes who eventually lost him in Waterlow Park.
Mr Austin, who lives in Archway Road, said: "We were filming and I looked round and there was this guy driving out into the road. This woman was screaming at him. She slammed her shopping down on the car and was shouting at him and struggling with him. "She reached into the car and threw the keys out and after that he got out.
"He then ran down the road and I and a member of the film crew gave chase with two other people.
"It was very difficult running, because I was wearing these tight jeans and the wig and roll-neck jumper and a button down jumper.
"The last thing you want to be doing is running around with that stuff on."
Mr Bedrossian, 20, a runner with film company IPM, which was shooting the series, to be screened on Living TV, also gave chase.
He said: "I heard the woman shouting 'my dog, my dog', before I saw the guy getting out of the car, which is when we approached and he started running.
"He managed to jump over a fence with barbed wire by the park, but he got caught in it a bit. That is where we lost him.
"I spoke to the woman, she was pretty badly shaken up, but was OK."

Police said they were looking for a 6ft tall, white man, aged about 25 with short cropped hair.

Anyone with information should call Holborn CID on 020-8733 6589.

MAY 3 Stones set to announce world tour!

It appears the Stones really are going to roll again.

Select media got an invite from Rogers and Cowan yesterday saying: The Rolling Stones, May 10, 12:30 p.m., NYC, at Julliard Musical School....

Rogers and Cowan wouldn't comment further yesterday, but the expectation is that, after a couple of months of rumours on the Internet, the veteran British rockers will finally announce the details of their latest world tour next Tuesday in The Big Apple.

The announcement could be exciting news for Toronto, since Stones frontman Mick Jagger, guitarists Keith Richards and Ron Wood, and drummer Charlie Watts have rehearsed three times in our city for their jaunts around the world.

The Stones' most most recent visit was in the summer of 2002 when they took over the Masonic Temple for rehearsals and then played a surprise club show at the Palais Royale. They later returned to play the Air Canada Centre and SkyDome in October of that year.

The other big news from the Stones camp is that they have been working on a brand new studio album that is slated for a summer release.

MAY 21 CANNES: Stones give 'thumbs up' to Brian Jones pic

One of the claims to fame that the town in which THN is based is that this is the birthplace of ex-Rolling Stone, Brian Jones. In fact, I think they've recently named a street here after him (but don't quote me on that - I might be wrong). Anyway, news reaches us today that long haired producer Stephen Woolley is to bring a new movie to the screen, based on Jones's life.

The film, entitled STONED, is said to have even got the thumbs up from the Stones themselves.

"From what I have heard, they have no problem with the film or what we are about," he said to BBCi in Cannes.

"But I deliberately did not involve them because I did not want it to be a film about the Rolling Stones."

The mystery surrounding Jones's death lives on to this day. The rocker was found dead in his swimming pool at his Sussex home in 1969. Some people say he died from a drink and drugs overdose, others believe his builder Frank Thorogood killed him.

The proposed fil already has a cast. Leo Gregory (HOOLIGANS) will play Jones, and Paddy Consadine (DEAD MAN'S SHOES) plays Thorogood.

STONED is due for a 2006 release.

JUNE 6 Mixing in LA

The final mixing before CD production is going on the next days. Keith and Mick are there. The CD should be out middle of August 2005. Name still uncertain, more soon.

Watt's stable hands found dead

Two stablehands for ROLLING STONES rocker CHARLIE WATTS have been found dead in mysterious circumstances near the drummer's English country farm.

Poles NORBERT BEDNOSKY (corr.), 26, and KRYSZTOF KWIECHIEN (corr.), 41, were discovered drowned in a pond a few miles away from the GET OFF MY CLOUD hitmaker's stud farm in Torrington, Devon.

Police report the men were last seen on Sunday evening (26JUN05) while riding two horses through the nearby Elder Park.

Officers believe the pair stopped at the pond to cool the horses and decided to have a swim. Fellow employees from Watts' farm found the horses tied to a tree next to the pond and called police.

The bodies were found on Tuesday (28JUN05). Devonshire police have not ruled out foul play.

JULY 4 New album title "A Bigger Bang"

According to Virgin UK the new album title will be announced on July 4th. 2005. Listening parties at all Virgin representatives these days.
The album is recorded at Mick Jaggers chateau in France, and is now being remixed in California. The album which is a trip back in time to the good old days, gives the listener a great time of simple rock and roll music, as well as a few ballads, and some Jamaican influenced music as well.

UPDATED: Songs so far we know will be on the album: Streets Of Love - Rough Justice - Back Of My Hand - Oh No, Not You Again - She Saw Me Coming - Under The Radar - Look What The Cat Dragged In - This House Is Empty Without You - Walking Alone In The Rain - You Drive Too Fast

A possible song is also Neo con, it is a critical political song, and probably it is changed before release on this album.

Speculations about the title, Oh, Yeah it comes early in August.

The great saxophonist player Tim Ries, who not only have played with the Stones on the tours, but with important jazz names as Phil Woods, Al Foster and Dave Liebman. Watt's Wins Groom's Unfair Dismissal Case

A female stablehand on ROLLING STONES rocker CHARLIE WATTS' English stud farm, who claimed she was bullied out of her job, lost her unfair dismissal case yesterday (11JUL05).

Groom RUTH ROLLO claimed the drummer's wife and co-owner GERMAN KURTZ forced her to leave her job after telling her she was "incompetent and not confident around horses".

The ex-army girl said, "I was victimised for six months.

"I hope Mrs Watts would see what was going on, but I couldn't trust her."

But lawyer for Watts told the employment tribunal the rocker's wife was a "perfectionist" who like things to be done properly at her husband's country farm in Torrington, Devon.

The judge finally ruled in favour of Watts, stating the groom did not give the star's wife "enough opportunity to sort out her grievance" before she quit the job.

JULY 13

Keith to star as Pirate

Keith Richards is set to make his HOLLYWOOD debut.

Following some speculation, it appears Richards will star in a ’Pirates Of The Caribbean’ sequel.

"I can confirm, Keith Richards will appear in ’Pirates Of The Caribbean’ 2 or 3,” explained co-star Bill Nighy to Contactmusic.com. “I'm not sure which one, because they are being filmed back to back."

Keith is expected to play the father of Johnny Depp’s character Captain Jack Sparrow who was largely based on Richards real life persona in the original film.

JULY 22 Streets Of Love & Rough Justice

The new single released and played at 10.25 on German Harmony radio to-day. A beautiful ballad from Jagger/Richards with a great guitar play from Keith and Ron, and the drums gives a beautiful product. Difficult to compare it with earlier ballads from Mick and Keith. My first impression is a great ballad. The rocker of this single is Rough Justice, and it indeed a real rocker with full power. Enjoy them on your local radiostation or look forward for the release later next month. Release date is Aug. 22. 2005.

Stones get 'Justice' on rock chart

The Rolling Stones entered Billboard's airplay-based Mainstream Rock Tracks chart at No. 29 Thursday with "Rough Jusice", a track from their Sept. 6 Virgin Records album "A Bigger Bang."

It's the first track by the veteran act to appear on the Mainstream chart in almost three years. "Don't Stop" peaked at No. 21 in October 2002. "Rough Justice" ties a live version of "Gimme Shelter" released in 1998 at the Stones' highest debuting title on this chart since September 1997, when "Anybody Seen My Baby"? opened at No. 4.

The Mainstream tally was introduced the week of March 21, 1981. The Stones' first single to appear on this survey was "If I Was a Dancer (Dance, Pt. 2)," which entered the week of April 18, 1981, ultimately peaking at No. 25. Four months later, "Start Me Up" debuted, and became the Stones' only No. 1 hit on this list, spending 13 weeks on top.

The group made its first appearance on a Billboard chart during the week of May 2, 1964. England's newest hitmakers opened at a lowly No. 98 on the Hot 100 tally with a cover of Buddy Holly's "Not Fade Away."

Musically speaking, “A Bigger Bang” is a safe hit. But lyrically? No doubts: Jagger and Richards opened the right drawer of their song writing desk, as Christian Diemoz digs out in this song-by-song analysis .

Stones raise voices against war in 2 songs

"George Bush doesn't listen to us,'' Keith Richards said.

But that's not the only reason the Rolling Stones, who open their world tour at Fenway Park today, won't be getting an invitation to the White House anytime soon.

The Rolling Stones A Bigger Bang Tour Donates $ 1 Million To American Red Cross Disaster Relief Gund for Hurricane Katrina Victims

The Rolling Stones' A Bigger Bang Tour announced that they have made a $1 million donation to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund for Hurricane Katrina. The tour will also offer fans a way to get directly involved by making their own contributions to the American Red Cross at the local concert venues throughout the tour. This effort began in Milwaukee and will continue throughout the tour.

In the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the American Red Cross has launched one of its largest responses ever to a national disaster, and yet thousands who have been forced from their homes are still awaiting help. The damage, which is estimated to exceed $26 billion, pales in comparison to the human loss and suffering.

"We wanted to reach out and offer our help to those whose lives have been devastated by Katrina. We hope that our gift will provide vital services and necessities to the families affected to help them rebuild their lives," said the Rolling Stones.

The American Red Cross is actively working to meet the challenges of providing relief to tens of thousands of survivors of Hurricane Katrina. Since Hurricane Katrina first slammed ashore in Florida, the American Red Cross has housed 159,000 survivors in more than 650 shelters in 17 states. The organization has served more than 5.5 million hot meals and snacks to survivors of Hurricane Katrina since before first landfall.

More than 32,000 trained Red Cross workers have left their homes across the United States and are on their way to join thousands of local volunteers who responded immediately to help their neighbors in impacted areas who have been left without the basic necessities of life: food, shelter, and safe drinking water.

The Disaster Relief Fund enables the Red Cross, through its network of nearly 900 local chapters to provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to people in need.

Charlottesville, VA (AP) - The Rolling Stones left the stage at the University of Virginia 's Scott Stadium and were replaced by several police officers and three bomb-sniffing dogs.  Thursday night's show resumed after about an hour intermission.

University, state and city police did not immediately return phone calls about the incident, and no announcements were made to the audience about the reason for the break.  About eight songs into the show, lead singer Mick Jagger announced that authorities had told them to take a ten-minute break.

The stage and about the first 20 rows of spectators were cleared until the police finished their work.

Stones Roll On

New songs, rare oldies and record sales on U.S. tour

"I can't think of a tour that's kicked off with such wonderful enthusiasm," raves guitarist Keith Richards, twenty shows into the Rolling Stones' A Bigger Bang tour. "It usually takes more time than this to hit it," he says during an off night in Philadelphia. "But we're flying. All of the planets are in alignment."

That doesn't mean the notes are always in the right place. During the October 10th show in Philadelphia, Richards hit the riff to "It's Only Rock and Roll" -- as the rest of the band jumped into "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction." "They're in different keys, too," he notes, laughing. "But somewhere in the first verse or two, it all segued into 'Satisfaction' -- without falling apart.

"But we are not up there playing by rote," Richards insists. "Even at this late date, this is an adventure."

The tour -- which ends in the U.S. in mid-March, then goes to Japan and Europe -- is on course to eclipse the Stones' record-breaking $126.4 million ticket gross from their 2002-2003 trek. "By the time we finish [in the U.S.], we'll have done sixty shows, where we did forty-nine last time," says the tour's promoter Michael Cohl. "And we've done more stadiums this time. There were a couple of shows where we set out to do 40,000 and went to the wire: 39,900, 39,600. But in general, we're at one hundred percent."

"The thrill of starting the tour is done," Mick Jagger says. "So I'm messing with the set list every night, putting different numbers in." Among the songs the Stones have added since opening in Boston on August 21st: "Angie," the Otis Redding cover "Mr. Pitiful" and the Sticky Fingers ballad "Sway," which "Keith had never played before," Jagger says, "because I played guitar on the original. He had to learn it."

The Stones are also performing at least four songs a night from A Bigger Bang, including "Rough Justice," "Oh No, Not You Again," the dirty blues "Back of My Hand," Richards' showcase "Infamy" and "Rain Fall Down." While the album debuted at Number Three on the Nielsen SoundScan chart and has sold 277,039 copies to date, Jagger is more pleased by the audience response to the material -- "They actually seem to be listening" -- and Richards says the new songs "feel like old friends. When I play 'Rough Justice,' it's as if I'm playing something I've known all my life."

Jagger admits he "was tempted" to perform the controversial "Sweet Neo Con" at the October 3rd show in Washington, D.C.: "But we only rehearsed it a couple of times. I thought, 'Oh, God, not now.'" He did have some fun at the expense of Supreme Court nominee Harriet Miers. "She's had a busy week," he told the D.C. crowd. "She looked high, she looked low . . . she looked in the mirror and said, 'Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the fairest judge of all?'

"I'm not going to turn into Bono," Jagger says of his stage raps. "I stick to a few jokes, wind 'em up a bit if they've got a football team that's lost."

Cohl has not yet spoken to the band about the possibility of more U.S. shows next fall. "But I'm still getting calls from local promoters," he says, "who are going, 'I'm sorry I didn't come in earlier. Can I get a show? Are you coming back?'"

Richards probably would not object. "This is akin to heaven," he says of the tour. "Without the seventy-two virgins," he adds, cackling. "I couldn't handle it."

OCT 27 Rarities 1971 - 2003

Following Bob Dylan's bootleg Starbucks release, the Rolling Stones will release an album of rare tracks, apty dubbed "Rarities 1971-2003", through both music outlets and the Starbucks coffee chain on November 22nd.
Among the sixteen tracks are live versions of "Tumbling Dice" and "Beast Of Burden", dance mixes of "Miss You" and "Harlem Shuffle", and B sides such as their cover of Chuck Berry's "Let It Rock".
The Stones are currently on a North American tour in support of their first studio album in eight years, "A Bigger Bang".
"I can't think of a tour that's kicked off with such wonderful entusiasm", guitarist Keith Richards told Rolling Stone. "Even at this late date, this is an adventure".

The Rolling Stones living on English takeaways

The Rolling Stones are surviving on the road by eating English crumpets and baked beans - especially flown out from the UK.

The legendary band, fronted by Mick Jagger, are insisting the traditional English foods are jetted out to them on the current US leg of their massive 'Bigger Bang' world tour because they are missing the comforts of home.

Acording to reports, the group, currently in San Francisco, have already had two cases of canned beans and one case of crumpets - usually served hot with butter and jam and eaten with tea – delivered to the lavish Four Seasons Hotel where they are staying.

Up and Close exclusive interviews

Rolling Stones leaders Keith Richards and Mick Jagger have one of the most productive and antagonistic partnerships in music history. Sparks flying from the creative friction between the "Glimmer Twins" helped forge some of rock's greatest moments.
Currently touring in support of "A Bigger Bang," an album widely hailed as the Stones' best in two decades, Richards and Jagger each took the time - separately, of course - to chat with The Salt Lake Tribune about their musical roots, the new album, past trips to Utah and playing pirate with Johnny Depp. Questions and answers were edited for length.
