Sydney Superdome:

Review by Kirk Trounson:

Wow! Even better than the last one!  Musical perfection, no-musical esctasy.
The guitars were sharp and edgy and louder, street fighting man is the
perfect opener, the one i'd been waiting for. Loved the exile miniset, also
something i'd been hoping for, tumbling dice, is just serene with horns, and
"you gotta roll me...". All down the line sounding like a runaway train and
sweet virginia just beautiful.  Midnight Rambler was absolutely smokin'.
Satisfaction brought the crowd to a new high, which remained for the rest of
the show, loved sympathy for the devil, that and dice, 2 songs i just didn't
want to end. I was 2 rows up the stairs directly facing the bstage, the
extra height gave me a good view.  When they were on the bstage, i waved at
mick, and he quickly waved back,so i felt very lucky and very special, this
was clearly better than meeting President Clinton. This show just felt like
it had something extra special about it, maybe because it was my last
show(for now, who knows) before having to go back to New Zealand and face
the relative drudgery of work, college and family. It has been such a
privilege seeing the stones for 3 shows in Sydney, now that i've had such a
taste, i want more.  For those that weren't at the show, find it onCD
hopefully someone out there got a good recording of it.
Again, awesome, show, esctasy, thankyou so much Mick, Keith, Ron and Charlie
for such a great time.
